Report a Problem

Not sure who to contact about a problem in Minster Lovell? Different services within the village are managed by Minster Lovell Parish Council, West Oxfordshire District Council and Oxfordshire County Council. The information below will help you report your issue to the correct authority.

Roads, Potholes, Pavements & Highways

Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for most public highways and pavements.

You can report:

  • Pavement and footway problems
  • Faulty streetlights
  • Damaged road signs
  • Drain and manhole problems
  • Fallen trees affecting the highway
  • Overgrown vegetation affecting the highway

West Oxfordshire District Council is responsible for services including:

  • Household waste and recycling collections
  • Missed bin collections
  • Fly-tipping
  • Litter and street cleaning
  • Dog fouling
  • Graffiti and fly-posting
  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Noise and pollution
  • Lost or stray dogs

Planning

West Oxfordshire District Council is the local planning authority.

Contact West Oxfordshire District Council to:

  • View or comment on a planning application
  • Report a suspected breach of planning control
  • Find information about planning permission

Please note that Minster Lovell Parish Council is consulted on local planning applications but does not make the final decision on whether planning permission is granted.

Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour

Crime and anti-social behaviour can be reported to Thames Valley Police.

Emergency: Call 999 if a crime is happening now or there is an immediate danger to life or property.

Non-emergency: Report the matter to Thames Valley Police online or call 101.

Parish Council Matters

Please contact Minster Lovell Parish Council for issues relating to facilities or land that are owned or managed by the Parish Council, including:

  • Parish Council grass cutting and tree maintenance

  • Parish Council assets
